Kapinowski Credits Rowing for Marathon Win

Jacqui Kapinowski won the ING Miami Marathon in the hand cycle division last month. Kapinowski, who represented Team USA at the 2011 World Championships in the mixed trunk and arms double sculls event, credits her rowing training for her winning time, which exceeded her personal best by nearly nine minutes. Kapinowski also competed at the Southern Sprints Indoor Rowing Championship in Melborne, Florida, February 4 and won two gold medals in the women’s trunk and arms 500m dash and 1000m race.
